Every KPI is reviewed monthly. Underperformance triggers a documented recovery plan — not a revised forecast. Partners receive a dashboard that shows the real picture every month, not a curated highlight reel.
What does a steering review cover?
Each steering review covers: KPI performance against agreed targets, pipeline status and progression quality, upcoming activation priorities, stakeholder coordination updates, and any escalation items requiring decision. The review output is a brief decision memo with actions and owners assigned.
How does DBIA handle underperformance?
Underperformance against agreed KPIs triggers a documented recovery plan within the same reporting period. The plan identifies root cause, corrective actions, revised targets for the recovery window, and accountability owners. Adjusting the forecast without a recovery plan is not an acceptable response.
Can this be applied to an existing programme DBIA did not design?
Yes. DBIA can provide governance and advisory frameworks for programmes already underway — including KPI framework design, reporting system setup, and steering cadence implementation. An initial assessment of the current delivery model is the first step.
