DBIA Programs & Projects combines diaspora engagement, social cohesion, cultural preservation, and trade facilitation into structured initiatives with clear implementation pathways and measurable outcomes.
DBIA structures two connected layers: Projects (execution vehicles) and Programmes (strategic outcomes). Projects include the Africa Soccer Festival, Diaspora Cultural Exchange, Doing Business in Africa events + database/network access, Elder Series podcast and knowledge preservation, and Import/Export Collaboration facilitation.
These projects feed into two long-term programmes: Social Cohesion through Sport and a Trade & Investment Programme. We manage implementation through milestones, partner roles, reporting cadence, and evidence-based learning loops.
Program design is aligned to SDGs and partner priorities, especially for organizations such as UNDP and IOM.
Typical SDG focus includes Social Cohesion and Peace (SDG 16), Inclusion and Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10), Decent Work and Growth (SDG 8), Partnerships (SDG 17), and Quality Education through intergenerational knowledge transfer (SDG 4).
Core projects include: Africa Soccer Festival (diaspora interaction and engagement), Diaspora Cultural Exchange and Promotion (language, customs, and culture), Doing Business in Africa events and network access, Elder Series podcast and knowledge preservation, and Import/Export Collaboration facilitation.
Projects are structured as operational delivery tracks that feed into two programmes: Social Cohesion through Sport and a Trade & Investment Programme. This creates continuity from community engagement to economic outcomes.
The model links migrant and diaspora inclusion, social cohesion, culture and language preservation, youth engagement through sport, and trade-based livelihoods into measurable SDG outcomes with strong multi-stakeholder partnership potential.
